Rosie van Reesema

Raised in Orland, Rosie fell in love with singing while sitting in the corner of her older sister’s voice lessons. She studied with the same teacher from age 5 to 18, then went on to one of the nation's top conservatories — a rare kind of continuity that shaped how she sees music as a whole: not a phase, but a lifelong love. She's warm, silly, and genuinely gifted at putting people at ease. Singing is vulnerable, and Rosie has a knack for making that feel safe.

What lessons are like: Rosie is endlessly adaptable — whatever a student brings in, pop, classical, musical theatre, she'll find the technique inside it. Lessons lean playful: singing from the very first minute, call-and-response, a lot of laughter. Underneath the fun, she's serious about one thing: healthy singing, technique that protects your voice long-term.

Background: Rosie holds a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre from Baldwin Wallace Conservatory, consistently ranked among the top five musical theatre programs in the country. She's a longtime collaborator of Grammy-winning pianist Paul Sullivan, currently serves as Executive Director of Blue Hill Bach, and co-founded Community Art Reach, leading music workshops for thousands of students across the country.
